I’ve already said on my Welcome page who I am and what I do, but to give you a quick rundown I am employed by Lancaster University as the eLearning Adviser within the JISC Regional Support Centre of the Northwest for Learning and Teaching Resources (what a mouthful!).  I spend my time supporting the 99 Learning Providers within the Northwest of England with the integration of eLearning – particularly online resources, Information Skills, effective use of Library Management Systems, Virtual Learning Environments and a lot of general stuff.  Currently the majority of my time is spent supporting Further Education colleges but increasingly I’m doing more work with the Higher Education establishments within the region.  Next on the list… Adult Community Learning and Work Based Learning.
